Just as the machine starts Li Qingzhao realizes it is going to combine both of her ears (耳) into one braid she quickly hits the machine's off button (关).

㸚 = 爻 + 爻 : Mnemonic symbol: a sparse (which means most elements are zero) matrix. The character 㸚 itself looks like a matrix. 黎 = 勿 + 氽 + 禾 : Just before dawn, when it is still very black (黎), Li Qingzhao (li) is having cereals (禾) for breakfast just inside the space station's entrance (Ø2). She's resting at the side of a water fountain (氽) when a bat (勿) flies into her cereals because it is so dark (黎). Disgusted Li Qingzhao throws the bowl of cereals with the bat into the water fountain.

陵 = 夌 + 阝 : Li Qingzhao (li), the father of emperor Yao (夌) and the pope (阝) are in a competition over who will have the largest tomb (陵) mound (陵). They are all busy heaping up hills (陵) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2).

凌 = 冫 + 夌 : The father of emperor Yao (夌) is approaching (凌) Li Qingzhao (li) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). As he arrives he asks for ice cream (冰激凌), and Li Qingzhao produces a popsicle (冫) from the freezer. As she takes out the popsicle she notices thick ice (凌) has built up in the freezer.

Li Qingzhao (li) has always been dreaming of soaring (翏) through the air and finally she is making her dream come true. In the outhouse's bathroom (ou4) she finishes her Icarus' wings (翏) which she made out of the many feathers (羽) she collected. To not be annoyed by the sound of the wind (翏) too much she puts on a big afro (㐱) which acts as muffler.
