He opened a kitchen in the airplane (ai2), but his income in the first year was not enough so he had to donate a kidney from which the scar is widely visible (𢦏), also due to the fact that he had to sell all his clothing except for a kilt (衣) which he wears. It was not enough. One day, he actually gets fired (裁) from the airplane's king because he was costing the airplane so much money.

朿 = ⺆ + 木 : Mnemonic symbol: someone wanting to stab someone else with a dagger.

The King of Chu is tired of Christmas and assassinates the Christmas tree in the space station's bathroom. To be on the safe side he does not only use a dagger to stab the Christmas tree, but also a stapler to staple it.

藏 = 艹 + 臧 : The King of Chu (c) got into a security inspection Just inside the anglepod's kitchen (ang2). He just got some very nice and good (臧) artificial lawn (艹) which would be taken away, so he tries to hide (藏) it in his beard.

茨 = 艹 + 次 : The King of Chu (c) wanted to pick up his cube (次) in the space station's kitchen, and he thought all he has to do is walk over sheets of artificial lawn (艹). In reality he mistook a pad of caltrop wine (茨) for the artificial lawn and soon has a lot of caltrops sticking in his feet.
