艹

芬 = 分 + 艹 : Frankenstein's Monster (f) has a new job. In front of the encampment ((e)n1) he has to rip apart a sheet of artificial lawn (艹) into so small pieces that only a perfume (芬) remains. Moreover, he has to do it in under one minute standing next to a stopwatch (分).

芳 = 艹 + 方 : Frankenstein's Monster (f) is cutting sheets of artificial lawn (艹) into square shapes (方) in front of the anglepod (ang1). The freshly cut artificial lawn as a very fragrant (芳) smell.

莲 = 艹 + 连 : Li Qingzhao (li) wants to add lotus (莲) to the anthill's menu, so she sets up a big water tank in the kitchen (an2). In the tank she fixes sheets of artificial lawn (艹) to the bottom of the tank using chains (连) to act as scaffold for the new lotus (莲) plants.

芒 = 亡 + 艹 : Mahatma Gandhi (m-) is cutting grass (艹) just inside entrance of the anglepod (ang2) wearing a beret (亠) and using a shovel (乚) as the sharp point / tip of blade (芒) with which to cut the grass. He works so hard on cutting the grass, he looks like he is about to die (亡).

萌 = 艹 + 明 : Mahatma Gandhi (m) has a strong affection for (萌) the flower buds (萌) he planted on sheets of artificial lawn (艹) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). To make them grow faster he illuminates them with a huge searchlight (明).

荐 = 艹 + 存 : Joan of Arc (ji) purchased artificial lawn (艹) and a floppy disc (存) from the internet to offer sacrifice (荐) in the anthill's bathroom (an4). When she burns the artificial lawn and the floppy disc it gives a terrible smell, but Joan of Arc is satisfied how fast the things burn so she writes a very approving recommendation (荐) on the internet.

菇 = 艹 + 姑 : Gitta Giraffe (gu) has become a nun (姑). In front of the space station (Ø1), her new life includes sitting on mats made of artificial lawn (艹) and eating mushrooms (菇) all day.

蓄 = 艹 + 畜 : Xu Xian (xu) is storing up (蓄) herds of cows (畜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). Each herd is living on a sheet of artificial lawn (艹) and when he gets a new herd, he just adds another layer on top.

茎 = 艹 + 圣 : Joan of Arc (ji) wrote to Father Christmas (圣) that she wants a condom (茎) for her penis (茎), but instead Father Christmas only understood she wants a lot of stems (茎) so in front of the engine ((e)ng1) he hands her a sheet of artificial lawn (艹).
