眼圈紅了

眼 = 目 + 艮 : Inside of the anthill, Maud Younger played a prank on the Eye of Providence. She told it that she would apply a mask to alleviate the wrinkles around its eyes, but instead she just covered its whole eye with chewing gum.

圈 = 卷 + 囗 : Cupid (qu) opened a show business (圈) in front of the anthill (an1). It consists of a mysterious wooden box (囗) around which Cupid will lead every interested passer-by in circles (圈), and then into the box. Inside the box Cupid has a lot of hair rollers (卷) with which he will transform the hair of any victim.

红 = 工 + 纟 : Mnemonic symbol: a little red book.

Helga Horse (hu) is reading the little red book (红) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2), when she discovers that it is being eaten by a silk worm (纟). She overreacts a little and wants to beat the silk worm with a steel beam (工).

了 = 乛 + 亅 : Sir Lancelot (l) has completed (了) his preparations to fight the world. There he stands ready, on top of the Elevator (e5), with a sickle (乛) and a crowbar (亅) in his hands.

了 = 乛 + 亅 : Mnemonic symbol from "to finish" and the shape of the character: a prize cup.

Li Qingzhao (li) is responsible for manufacturing a prize cup (了). She only needs to add a poetic engraving. Unfortunately, she suffers from a writer's block. In the aorta's living room (ao3), someone left a cryptic message engraved on the walls using a sickle (乛), which is still lying on the floor. Being an accomplished poet Li Qingzhao is able to understand the message clearly (了), realizes its poetic potential and starts to engrave it on the prize cup using a crowbar (亅).
