臭名远扬

臭 = 犬 + 自 : Charlie Chaplin (ch) has not showered for days and is very stinky (臭). In the outhouse's bathroom (ou4) the Saint Bernard dog (犬) even holds a mirror (自) in front of him to let him see how filthy he looks.

名 = 口 + 夕 : Mnemonic symbol: a name badge (from 名牌).

Marilyn Monroe (mi) prepared a mandarin (口) for her bat (夕) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2) and put her little darling's name badge (名) in front of it.

远 = 元 + 辶 : In anthill Yu the Great spent already hundreds of coins on a claw crane, because she wants these gladiator sandals so badly. She tries again and again, but she always moves the claw too far.

扬 = 𠃓 + 扌 : At the end of the day, Maud Younger (y) hoists (扬) a red lantern to show the visitors of the anglepod that the kitchen (ang2) is closed. Half the way up though the lantern gets stuck, so Maud Younger has to put on her Icarus' wings (𠃓), fly to the lantern and free it using a toy claw (扌).
